Oceanus Award
At the end of last month, on 06/29, Camil Alimentos was present at the ExpoMar event with a Coqueiro brand stand, where our director of Supplies, André Ziglia, participated in a round table with guests.
During the opening, the company was recognized with the Oceanus Award, in the Sustainability in Industry category, for seeking a completely clean energy matrix. At the same time, the new subsidiary, Camil Energia Renovável, will sell the surplus production of this energy and take care of the company’s future sustainable projects.
The award recognizes companies and institutions that promote the sustainability and development of fishing and mariculture, and our company stood out due to the positive result in the investment in a new plant to generate thermal (steam) and electrical energy from rice straw (biomass) located in Itaqui, Rio Grande do Sul.

Camil publishes its Sustainability Report

Camil Wins the Sales Leaders Award from SuperHiper Magazine!
Camil, Coqueiro and União reached 1st place (Brazil) in the Grain, Sweetened and Fish categories in the Leaders of Sales award, from SuperHiper Magazine. For the 8th consecutive year, the Camil brand occupies 1st place in the Abras Sales Leaders Ranking and for the 24th consecutive year, the União brand occupies 1st place in the Abras Sales Leaders Ranking.
Top Of Mind Rio Grande do Sul Amanhã 2023
For another year, our Camil brands were recognized with the Top of Mind RS 2023 award. Camil ranked first in the Beans category and second in the Rice category as the most remembered brand in Rio Grande do Sul.

Once again, Camil was recognized with the Top Supplier Award from SA Varejo Magazine in the categories of Rice (1st Place), Beans (1st Place), Macaroni (2nd Place) and Fish (1st and 2nd Place).
